Details:
Porto is a well known city in the north of Portugal, but the beautiful Aveiro lagoon is perhaps not so well known. Join me, Paulo Silva for some great photographic opportunities in both locations. I offer a 5 day landscape photo tour in this Portuguese area which is close to my home and my heart. In Porto we will photograph famous views of the high lying city, the steel bridge, and the barges carrying barrels of port below on the Douro River. In the Aveiro Lagoon we will seek out the best tides, light and reflections to photograph the fishing boats in their peaceful surroundings. In the pretty town of Aveiro we will try some blue hour photograph.

Relatively easy but good footwear needed. Most locations and viewpoints are close to where we will be parked. There may be some walking on uneven terrain which could be wet and muddy, and some locations are hilly. Good sturdy, water resistant boots are advised.
Best place to fly to is Lisbon Airport. If coming from the UK or within Europe, you can find flights at Easyjet or Wizz Air or Ryanair.
You can get information and public transport options from Lisbon Airport here:
The weather can be quite cold this time of year, and the mornings and evenings colder, so warm clothes. Ideally layers that you can remove or put on as we’ll be shooting before sunrise and after sunset, in the dark, when it will be colder. Bring wet weather gear and a raincover for your camera equipment.
