A landscape and seascape photographer's paradise
Porto
The beautiful city of Porto hardly needs an introduction. The second largest city in Portugal lies on the banks of the Douro River and it is a UNESCO World Heritage site.
The most characteristic views of the city, including the Ribeira district with its ancient houses, and the famous Dom Luis steel bridge can be seen from the low lying shores of the Douro.
Here you also find the traditional barges carrying barrels of the local port. This creates many photographic possibilities which we will be photographing at sunrise and sunset.
Aveiro
This wonderful location is set along a coastal lagoon known as Ria de Aveiro. Along this lovely waterway are many colourful and interesting canal boats to photograph that are traditionally used to harvest seaweed.
The city itself provides many great photographic scenes with its art nouveau buildings, the exquisite cathedral and its distinctive bell tower. Aveiro is the perfect place to get some unique images to add to your portfolio.
The Algarve
The Algarve may be best known for its holiday resorts, but beyond all this lies a coastline with some of the most incredible scenery in this corner of the Iberian Peninsula.
Come photograph gorgeous tall rocky cliffs and magnificent sea stacks. Explore the lovely inlets and coves from the high ledges with your camera.
Lisbon
My Lisbon photo tours and workshops take place in the spectacular southern region of the Capital of Portugal; the beautiful City of Lisbon and Carrasqueira.
During our tour we will photograph sunrises and sunsets overlooking the peaceful estuary of the beautiful Sado where we will have Carrasqueira as the dominant landscape, and the famous Vasco da Gama bridge. In the beautiful Alentejo village, Alcácer do Sal, we will photograph blue hour and the sunrise.
