5-Day Photo Workshop in the Heart of the Balkans
Enter a world where water carves poetry into stone.
Join me for a 5-day photography workshop set in the awe-inspiring landscape of Plitvice Lakes National Park — a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most photogenic natural wonders in the Balkans. Known for its turquoise lakes, endless cascades, moss-covered cliffs, and primeval forests, Plitvice offers an ethereal playground for landscape photographers.
This adventure is built for those who seek to slow down, breathe in nature's rhythm, and create images that capture more than just light — images that tell stories.
What You’ll Experience
– Early-morning solitude among mist-covered lakes
– Long exposure techniques on multi-tiered waterfalls
– Forest trails leading to secret viewpoints and pristine reflections
– Golden hour shoots guided by an expert in light, color, and composition
Led by Paulo Silva, a photographer whose work blends visual clarity with emotion, this workshop offers hands-on instruction, artistic mentoring, and the time to truly connect with each frame.
Highlights Include:
– Plitvice’s Upper & Lower Lakes in changing light

You can get information and public transport options from Zagreb Airport website here.
The weather can be quite mild this time of year, but the mornings and evenings cold, so bring warm clothes. Ideally layers that you can remove or put on as we’ll be shooting before sunrise and after sunset, in the dark, when it will be colder.
