Dreamy Venice – January 15–19, 2026

Venice Grand Canal at Dawn
FULL PRICE – €1750
(Deposit €500)

Experience Venice in its most peaceful and poetic form. In January, the city slows down. The canals are still. The light is soft. The fog rolls in. This is the perfect season for photographers who want to capture the true soul of Venice — away from the crowds, and in its purest, most atmospheric state.

Over five immersive days, we’ll photograph world-famous landmarks and hidden gems under the best winter light conditions. You’ll develop your visual voice with guidance on composition, timing, minimalist framing, and long exposure techniques, all in one of the most photogenic urban landscapes in the world.

Relatively easy but with lots of walking around the streets, so good footwear needed.

Best place to fly to is Venice Marco Polo Airport, but you can also fly to Venice Treviso.

To reach the hotel with public services you can choose between these two possibilities:

Sightseeing Route: about 40 minutes ride with “Vaporetto” Line 2 direction San Marco, suggested stop San Marco Giardinetti (easy path without bridges) or Line 1 direction San Marco, stop in San Marco Vallaresso. Cross the whole square in the direction of the Basilica, on you left side you will find the Clock Tower, go through the Tower and take the first street on your right called “Calle Larga San Marco”. The Hotel is at the end of the street  on the left side in “Calle dell’Anzolo”.

Shortest Path: about 15 minutes ride with “Vaporetto” Line 1 or 2 direction Rialto. From Rialto boat stop to the hotel it’s about 10-minutes walk. Take “Mercerie” street till the end and turn left into “Calle Larga San Marco”. The hotel is at the end of the street on the left side in “Calle dell’Anzolo”.

The weather can be quite cold this time of year, and the mornings and evenings colder, so bring warm clothes. Ideally layers that you can remove or put on as we’ll be shooting before sunrise and after sunset, in the dark, when it will be colder. Bring wet weather gear and a raincover for your camera equipment.
